As we prepare for the 2014 LCI congress next week, we are excited to have a dozen LeanProject coaches planning to attend. You will see us teaching introductory sessions on Tuesday, presenting sessions with our clients, and participating throughout the week. It’s a great chance for us to connect with old friends and learn about what others in the industry are up to. We are pleased to be the Platinum Sponsor for the event this year.
It’s hard to believe that we will not be joined at congress by our colleague and LCI co-founder, Greg Howell. Greg has recently stepped back from his responsibilities at LCI to focus on other interests – don’t worry, he is still passionate about applying lean concepts to the AEC industry. Greg still works with LeanProject clients and acts as an ambassador for the lean movement around the world.
As we launch our new website, we have reserved a space for Greg to share his thoughts about the state of industry and where we are headed, and to continue challenging our current “common-sense ” thinking about what is possible. Those who know Greg, know that his insight will continue to be a beacon and an inspiration to us all.
Currently, Greg is “off the grid”, somewhere at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. We look forward to his return in a few days, and look forward to hearing what’s on his mind. I will personally miss his presence at the congress for the first time since he and Glenn first formed LCI in 1999.
