Rebecca joined LPC in the early fall of 2008. She started her career with one of the nation’s largest in-ground concrete swimming pool companies. She began on the ground level, scheduling construction work, and moved up into various other positions throughout the next 12 years including General Manager of Renovations, Director of Customer Acquisition, and more. She found her true calling in 2006, when she was promoted to the internal position of Corporate Lean Consultant. Here, her team successfully developed the lean culture in two of the company's divisions, mentoring and coaching local management. During this time and after, she led numerous Study Action Teams™ and Kaizen workshops. She also participated in and helped drive the company's very successful Quick n' Easy Kaizen program, as well as monitored the results. Since joining LPC, she has spent considerable time collaborating on two new J-programs - JK (Quick n' Easy Kaizen) and JY (Good 5-whys™).

Roberto has over 15 years of construction management experience with a focus on project management, contract management, planning and scheduling. His work with the Last Planner® System (LPS) began when in one of the largest Venezuelan Refinery Expansion Project prior to joining Lean Project Consulting in 2004. He worked as a contract manager with a French General Contractor on large oil processing and energy facilities in Venezuela when he first learned from Greg Howell and Glenn Ballard to implement the LPS in 1994. Since joining LPC, Roberto has taught Lean Construction techniques to construction teams working on large complicated medical center renovations, water treatment facilities, massive parking structures and performing arts centers. His clients routinely request Roberto to coach additional teams on Lean Construction. Roberto holds a degree in Civil Engineering specializing in structural design and a Masters degree in Construction Management. Passionate about Leadership and Human Behavior Roberto spends lots of time researching these subjects to coach his clients into developing all the necessary skills to inspire and lead their organizations to success. He lives in Sunny Isles Beach Florida with his wife and 2 kids.

As a registered Professional Civil Engineer, John has a strong technical background coupled with leadership, managerial, planning and coaching skills developed and honed during a 22-year career in the US Navy’s Civil Engineer Corps. He has been a student and advocate for lean for over eight years and has coached project teams throughout the US on their lean transformations. He is proficient in guiding and coaching project teams in their implementation of the Last Planner System as well as with general process improvements and overall lean transformations. He also leads Study-Action Teams, helps clients formulate and implement improvement strategies, and facilitates kaizen workshops and value-stream mapping exercises. John’s experience with Lean Project Consulting during the past five years has included a multi-year engagement with a nationwide specialty contractor assisting them in the start of their lean transformation. Working hand in hand with their personnel, he was able to catalyze the interest of many small work groups and accelerated their performance. With his 30 years of hands-on experience in facility engineering, management and construction, John is at home both in the construction trailer and the corporate office.

Matt is currently responsible for coaching general contractor project teams in their implementation of the Last Planner® System and building the capability of their personnel in solving problems collaboratively. His interest is in production system design while creating environments that form high performing systems. With an academic background in advanced industrial engineering, Matt is competent to coach teams adopting a wide variety of lean tools. He’s been certified by the Training Within Industry (TWI) Institute to delivery 10-hour courses on Job Instruction (JI) and Job Relations (JR). He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Industrial Engineering.

Gregory A. Howell is co-founder and managing director of the Lean Construction Institute (LCI), a non-profit organization devoted to production management research in design and construction. Howell brings 35 years of construction industry project management, consulting and university-level teaching experience to LCI.

Steve has over 30 years of experience with a major EPC firm in roles ranging from Field Engineer to Vice President and General Manager for Pulp and Paper. Since leaving this work in 1999, he has worked with LCI in the development and implementation of the Last Planner System. He joined LPC in 2004 and has coached numerous teams as they implemented LPS. Recently he has worked with teams that not only use LPS but utilize an Integrated Project Delivery Agreement to improve coordination and project delivery. Steve is now working on incorporating LPS, the IPD Agreement and Building Information Modeling technology to bring about a truly superior way of delivering projects.

Hal is the practice leader for Lean Project Consulting, Inc. He is currently placing his attention on project leadership and organization transformation in a lean environment. By bringing together the work of Flores, Goldratt, and Ohno/Shingo with an emphasis on leadership Hal is intent to bring about a transformation in how projects are delivered. He also has been collaborating with colleagues to bring TWI-style programs to the design and construction industry. The in-house team has created two brand new programs that will be offered in conjunction with the TWI Institute®.

Cheri joined Lean Project Consulting, Inc. in early 2007 and is responsible for managing the administrative functions for the company. Prior to joining the LPC, Cheri worked at the NUMMI plant in CA in a variety of human resource positions, including staffing, safety and employee involvement, where she administered the companies nationally recognized suggestion program. During her time at NUMMI, Cheri learned many of the Toyota principles of lean, including 5-step problem solving, A-3 report writing, and kaizen. She has become accustomed to using continuous improvement principles in her work and personal life. Her application of these skills has been effective in her work at Lean Project Consulting, Inc., contributing to help keep our company lean.

Aaron has over ten years of experience within the commercial construction industry working on teams constructing a range of projects, from $1M retail facilities to $325M sports stadiums. He has served in project manager and owner's representative roles at Exxon, Barton Malow, and Linbeck Group. Aaron holds a bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from Drexel University and a master's degree in business administration from Boston University.

Tom Robinson works with clients to develop lean strategies for large and complex projects. For more than twenty years Tom has facilitated executive teams and led process improvement and 5S efforts. He has worked as an independent consultant, internal lean specialist, chief administrative officer, and wilderness guide. He has consulted extensively in aerospace, oil production, research and development, healthcare, and construction. Tom holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University, and recently served for four years on the Organization Systems Renewal faculty of Seattle University.

Christine has over 25 years of experience dealing with work processes and the technology supporting them. She combines skills in listening, analysis, facilitation and writing with a project-based technical background. She specializes in working with cross-functional teams such as architects, engineers, project managers and technical specialists. Christine is interested in the role of language and conversation in building effective teams and studied Conversation, Action, and Business Process Design for several years with Fernando Flores. Since joining LPC in 2007, she has co-developed and delivers the Essential Conversations™ for Project Success course. She also leads Study-Action Teams™ and facilitates planning, process improvement and retrospective sessions for clients. Christine has a bachelor’s degree in math from the University of Illinois in Champaign and a master’s degree in computer science from Cornell University.
