Tom Robinson

Tom is a seasoned leader of organizational change, and an experienced consultant of lean strategies across a broad range of organizations. He works with executives, managers, and work teams to learn effective methods to simplify workflows and improve team and corporate performance.

Tom has led change efforts in process improvement in major companies, including developing lean leaders in Boeing, BP, Philips Oral Healthcare, and Swedish Medical Center. He has facilitated process improvement initiatives in R&D departments, pharmacies, Indian tribes, credit unions, and medical clinics. Tom has also taught introductions to lean construction and the Last Planner® System for new airport, healthcare, office, and university projects.

Tom always seeks the most effective and practical ways for organizations to improve their performance and morale. In 1990, he led executive study missions to Japan and North America, which convinced him that comprehensive lean strategies offer the best way to permanently improve organizations. Tom’s specific experience includes business process analysis, lean design, executive teambuilding, and change management. His industry experience ranges across pharmaceuticals, aerospace, consumer products, financial services, oil production, healthcare, and construction.
